Ingredients
QUESTIFIED MINI CORN DOGS
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Quest Ranch Tortilla Chips, crushed
- 1 ¼ cups almond flour
- ¼ cup cotija cheese
- ½ tbsp baking powder
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 16 cocktail sausages
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the flour, cotija cheese, baking powder and crushed chips.
- In another bowl that’s microwave safe, melt together the mozzarella cheese and cream for 30 seconds and stir smooth.
- Whisk in the egg.
- Add the mixture to the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and use a rubber spatula to stir them together until a dough forms.
- Separate the dough into 16 evenly sized balls and then press them flat.
- Wrap each one around a mini hot dog and then place them on the baking sheet.
- Brush the mini corn dogs with an egg wash (egg and 2 tbsp of water whisked together) and bake for 13-16 minutes and golden brown.
- Serve with condiments.
