Ingredients
PEPPERMINT BARK DONUTS
Frosting:
- ½ cup sugar free white chocolate chips
- ½ tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp crushed candy canes
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare two standard donut pans with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa powder, zero calorie sweetener, protein powder, baking soda,baking powder and salt.
- In another microwave safe bowl, break the Peppermint Bark bar into small pieces and add themilk. Place the bowl into the microwave for 45 seconds.
- Stir smooth using a fork, if there’s still large chunks, return to the microwave for another 15 seconds.
- Let cool slightly before whisking in oil and eggs.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until a batter forms and no dry spots remain.
- Transfer the batter to a large plastic zip bag and cut a small hole in the corner to create a piping bag.
- Pipe the batter into 8 of the donut cavities. Bake the donuts for 12-15 minutes and cooked through. Let cool.
- Once the donuts are cooled, melt the white chocolate chips and oil together until smooth.
- Dip each donut the white chocolate. Top with candy pieces.
- Let the chocolate set for 10 minutes before serving.
