Ingredients

PEPPERMINT BARK DONUTS

Frosting:

  • ½ cup sugar free white chocolate chips
  • ½ tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp crushed candy canes

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare two standard donut pans with non-stick spray.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa powder, zero calorie sweetener, protein powder, baking soda,baking powder and salt.
  3.  In another microwave safe bowl, break the Peppermint Bark bar into small pieces and add themilk. Place the bowl into the microwave for 45 seconds.
  4. Stir smooth using a fork, if there’s still large chunks, return to the microwave for another 15 seconds.
  5. Let cool slightly before whisking in oil and eggs.
  6. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until a batter forms and no dry spots remain.
  7. Transfer the batter to a large plastic zip bag and cut a small hole in the corner to create a piping bag.
  8. Pipe the batter into 8 of the donut cavities. Bake the donuts for 12-15 minutes and cooked through. Let cool.
  9. Once the donuts are cooled, melt the white chocolate chips and oil together until smooth.
  10. Dip each donut the white chocolate. Top with candy pieces.
  11. Let the chocolate set for 10 minutes before serving.
